TCP: Order in the Court

If there's anything, whenever I hear the words courtroom drama, my thoughts automatically shift to John Grisham. I went on a reading phase where anything John Grisham wrote, I devoured with much gusto.

I went on a research spree for this one again. But I only have 1 movie in mind for this category. It's the photo you see above. I love the actors. I love the execution even if it wasn't a direct lift from the book. It basically had the same essence.

In the book, the plot was a case against a tobacco company. But before I go on and on about the book. Let's concentrate on the movie.

Here's the trailer for the movie:

I think the trailer says it all. I just love the combination of John Cusack and Rachel Weisz.
I love how they made the jury eat out. How they said they can deliver the verdict each team needed...when in reality they only wanted 1 ending.
It's a great film, complete with drama and the action.
How the jurors are just people, with flaws, with secrets, sometimes manipulated, and unpredictable.

I agree with Rossel, John Grisham is a good writer, Sidney Sheldon is classic, but John Grisham knows how to put you at the edge of your seat!

Oooh, two of Hollywood's heavyweights -- Dustin Hoffman and Gene Hackman, how can they miss? Right, they didn't. This is one great movie.

Haven't seen this one yet. hindi ako masyadong hilig sa mga order in the court unless its comedy and the characters are good. Mine is here http://www.sheaky.com/2010/01/tcp-in-court-few-good-men.html
