My kids have different reactions during a haircut and it all depends on who's holding the scissors. For such a long time, we've never brought them to a professional barber or a hair dresser. Maegan, in a way, didn't need it. Her hair never seems to grow very long, except for her bangs which we easily trimmed. Paul, is a different matter altogether. From the very beginning, he had such a long hair. He came out with a headful of hair that on his first birthday, we called him an F4 member. Here is a picture of my kids with before a professional haircut and after.
Maegan's haircut isn't that obvious, in reality, it's more of a trim and just straightening of the edges. Paul's is so blatantly obvious. They hate strangers touching their hair though. They both have issues about their hair whether in bathing them or having a stranger cut their hair.

About The Mediocre Writer and The Blog
The Writer & The Blog:
I am Mys. I discovered the joy of blogging when I decided that I wanted to start writing again. My blogging journey actually started May of 2008 but I was never content with what I've written or what I've done with my blog. I kept on stopping, starting, revamping and lost all the focus that I had. I continue to write this blog since I don't want the domain to go to waste. I won this domain thru Calvin's domain giveaway.
I like to write. I love it sometimes. Writing doesn't like me, hence I call myself a mediocre writer. I like to write about a lot of things. My thoughts, obsessions, current passion, and a variety of interests.
I've found out that I like to join blog contests or giveaways. So you can expect to find my entries to wonderful contests online that are open internationally or to the Philippines only. Sometimes, I even join in contests that are open to the US since I have it sent to my relatives who might appreciate it or wait until one of them comes back here.
I like writing about blogging resources, blog tweaking, and sometimes, earning money online plans. I like recommending sites or good reads. I write about my web discoveries. I am a pinoywebsurfer like Calvin.

Mommy Moments: Silly Moments
I feel so guilty not being able to join last few weeks of Mommy Moments that I promise to be back with a vengeance. Unfortunately for me, with the computer crashing and no backup, I've been searching high and low for silly pictures. Fortunately, there were a few silly pictures left in the cd when my daughter was still little. I'm guesstimating that she hasn't turned one here in this few silly pictures of her.
The top pictures are of my daughter. She's playing with the alphabet rubber mat. She kept removing them and she placed one on her neck, so we made one as a headband. The second photo is of her playing with her miniumbrella. I'm not sure if the next 3 pictures are silly. The first on the left is of my son, playacting like a punk. The second photo are of my kids playing rockband and maegan dancing to paul's music. The last photo is of my son, off balanced. I called this shot as his attempt to catch a frog.
